Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Global Trial Associate will support clinical trial execution through a combination of operational activities, coordination, and oversight. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting Global Trial Leads in driving timely and high-quality study execution using performance metrics and quality indicators
- Assisting in study-level planning, conduct, maintenance, and close-out activities
- Managing study documentation and ensuring accuracy and completeness of electronic Trial Master Files (eTMF)
- Reviewing vendor invoices, tracking accruals, and supporting budget-related activities in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Supporting updates to study tools such as study directories, SharePoint sites, global vendor site lists, and distribution groups
- Providing operational input during study start-up, ongoing trial maintenance, and study close-out phases
- Coordinating vendor onboarding, payment processing, and issue resolution
- Identifying potential risks and operational challenges and escalating them appropriately
- Participating in study team meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes
- Supporting filing activities and participating in audits or inspections as required
- Assisting with study closure and archival activities during trial completion
- Supporting Clinical Study Report (CSR) appendices where applicable
- Learning and performing core Global Trial Associate activities with increasing independence
Global Trial Associate Job in Hyderabad
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in a relevant discipline such as:
- Life Sciences
- Pharmacy
- Clinical Research
- Biotechnology or related fields
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in:
- Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS)
- Clinical Trial Master File (CTMF / eTMF) systems
- Prior experience in clinical research or trial operations is preferred
- Exposure to global or multinational clinical trials is an added advantage
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of clinical trial operations and lifecycle
- Working knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory guidelines
- Familiarity with clinical trial budgets, vendor payments, and tracking processes
- Fundamental project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and study demands
