Key Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
- Supporting processing of Expedited Safety Reports (ESRs) and Periodic Safety Reports (PSRs).
- Maintaining adverse event tracking systems and project documentation files.
- Logging incoming AE/SAE reports into tracking applications and routing appropriately.
- Performing data entry into safety databases accurately and within timelines.
- Writing patient safety narratives.
- Coding adverse events using MedDRA (where applicable).
- Assisting with listedness assessments against product labeling (for marketed products).
- Generating queries to obtain missing or inconsistent information in coordination with medical staff.
- Submitting expedited SAE reports to clients, regulatory authorities, ethics committees, and investigators within agreed timelines.
- Assisting in database reconciliation activities.
- Supporting peer review and quality checks of processed reports.
- Maintaining documentation related to country-specific reporting requirements.
- Working within the Quality Management System (SOPs, WIs, regulatory frameworks).
- Supporting archiving of safety study files at project completion.
- Coordinating meetings and teleconferences as required.
- Providing training and peer mentoring to junior staff.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and project-specific safety plans.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates may qualify under any of the following:
- Non-degree with 1โ2 years of safety experience.
- Associate degree with 6 months to 1 year of safety experience.
- BS/BA with 0โ1 year of safety experience.
- MS/MA with 0โ6 months of safety experience.
- PharmD with 0โ6 months of safety experience (Residency/Fellowship may be considered relevant experience).
Preferred degree disciplines include:
- Biological Sciences

- Nursing

- Related healthcare fields
