Research Scientist – Pharmacovigilance
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling safety case processing activities and supporting global pharmacovigilance compliance. This position involves working on Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), ensuring regulatory timelines are met, and maintaining high-quality safety documentation.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
ICSR Processing & Case Management
- Perform duplicate checks and case triage activities
- Accurately enter safety data into global safety databases
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) review of processed cases
- Validate MedDRA and WHO-DD coding
- Prepare and review detailed patient narratives
- Perform expectedness evaluation and causality assessment
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with ICH-GVP guidelines and global PV regulations
- Manage case allocation workflows to meet internal KPIs and regulatory timelines
- Review follow-up requests to ensure case completeness
- Support preparation of safety submissions to global regulatory authorities
- Maintain adherence to SOPs and internal quality standards

Quality & Process Support
- Participate in audits and regulatory inspections
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Mandatory)
- M.Pharm (Pharmacology / Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Pharmacy preferred)
OR - Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy)
Experience Required
- 1 to 2.5 years of relevant experience in:
- ICSR Case Processing
- Pharmacovigilance Operations
- Drug Safety Data Management
- MedDRA Coding
- Narrative Writing
- Experience with safety databases such as Argus or ARISG preferred
