Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Research Associate will be responsible for executing analytical activities that enable chemical development and API supply programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine analytical testing of in-process samples, intermediates, and final API samples using chromatographic and classical wet analytical techniques.
- Supporting analytical activities during early-stage chemical development and scale-up programs.
- Executing method qualification activities to ensure analytical methods are suitable for intended use.
- Performing routine and scheduled instrument calibration to maintain compliance and data integrity.
- Maintaining accurate and complete experimental records using electronic laboratory notebook systems.
- Ensuring all analytical work is conducted in alignment with internal quality systems and applicable GxP documentation requirements.
- Supporting troubleshooting activities related to analytical methods, instruments, or sample analysis.
- Handling day-to-day laboratory responsibilities including sample management, reagent preparation, and instrument readiness.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams involved in process development and chemical synthesis.
- Following laboratory safety practices and contributing to a compliant and efficient working environment.
- Supporting shift-based laboratory operations as required by project timelines.

Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Mandatory Qualification:
- Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
Experience
- Suitable for candidates with hands-on experience or strong academic exposure in analytical research and development.
- Prior experience in analytical laboratories supporting API or chemical development projects will be an advantage.
Skills Required
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Strong academic foundation in analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis.
- Sound knowledge of analytical techniques commonly used in API and chemical development laboratories.
- Understanding of instrument calibration and analytical method qualification practices.
- Experience in routine sample analysis and data interpretation.
- Familiarity with GxP documentation requirements and electronic lab notebook systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
