Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Clinical Data Manager will play a critical role in managing clinical trial data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting accurate data flow across studies. Clinical Data Manager Job at Excelya
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing clinical data activities across the full study lifecycle, including start-up, ongoing maintenance, and database closeout.
- Supporting the design, review, and maintenance of electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) aligned with study protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements from ICH, EU, and FDA.
- Overseeing clinical trial databases and related applications to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Monitoring clinical data flow and performing ongoing data review to identify trends, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
- Collaborating closely with clinical operations, biostatistics, and programming teams to ensure timely and reliable data delivery.
- Supporting query management, discrepancy resolution, and data cleaning activities.
- Maintaining clear and accurate documentation in line with regulatory and internal quality standards.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives within clinical data management.
- Participating in cross-functional meetings to align data strategies with study objectives.

Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific discipline (Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Data Manager
- Candidates with equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant clinical research experience may also be considered
Skills Required
Technical & Domain Skills:
- Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and other relevant ICH, EU, or FDA regulations.
- Hands-on experience with clinical trial databases and data management systems.
- Knowledge of clinical data flow, data review processes, and eCRF design.
- Understanding of clinical trial phases and study lifecycle activities.
