- Handling receipt and tracking of samples including raw materials, finished products, in-process samples, and stability samples
- Conducting microbiological tests such as Bioburden and Microbial Limit Testing (MLT)
- Performing chemical testing of various water samples such as Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), and Potable Water (POW)
- Carrying out environmental monitoring activities in cleanroom areas
- Monitoring utilities and ensuring compliance with microbiological standards
- Maintaining microbiology laboratory operations and hygiene standards
- Managing media preparation, sterilization, growth promotion testing, and culture maintenance
- Ensuring proper disposal of microbiological waste and used media
- Monitoring temperature logs, pressure differentials, and equipment performance
- Preparing disinfectants and ensuring regular cleaning and fumigation of the lab
- Following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Hygiene Practices
- Coordinating sample release activities with internal teams
