Key Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle a wide range of contract-related responsibilities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in agreement management: Contract Specialist Remote Job at Clario
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements such as Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Work Orders (WOs), Start-Up Agreements (SUAs), and Letters of Intent (LOIs)
- Conduct legal reviews of Change Orders (COs) and ensure alignment with company policies
- Support senior team members in handling complex agreements including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Stand-Alone Agreements (SAAs), Quality Agreements, and Data Privacy Agreements (DPAs)
- Identify non-standard contract terms and escalate them to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for resolution
- Interpret legal language and provide simplified summaries for internal stakeholders
- Manage and update contract workflows and cases within Salesforce systems
- Accurately enter and maintain key contractual data and documentation
- Monitor shared inboxes and ensure timely action on contract-related communications
- Maintain structured and compliant documentation for drafts, approvals, and finalized agreements
- Handle electronic signature processes and ensure proper documentation tracking
- Assist in updating contract reference guides and internal process documentation
- Participate in cross-functional projects and support business initiatives
- Contribute to audit readiness by assisting during client audits and regulatory inspections
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and corporate compliance standards
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Additional certifications in legal studies or contract management will be advantageous
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial contracting or related roles
- Experience handling complex or non-standard agreements is essential
- Prior exposure to pharmaceutical, CRO, healthcare, or clinical trial environments is preferred
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle management and legal documentation
- Familiarity with commercial agreements and regulatory compliance requirements
