Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Receive, assess, and process adverse event reports from clinical trials and post-marketing sources
- Perform Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) processing using safety databases such as ARGUS
- Evaluate case validity, perform duplicate checks, and create safety cases in the system
- Identify and classify adverse events, including seriousness and expectedness
- Conduct causality assessments and determine listedness as per regulatory requirements
- Draft case narratives and ensure completeness of safety data
- Prioritize cases based on internal guidelines and timelines
- Update cases using structured data sources such as XML documents
- Review processed cases for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Determine appropriate workflows for case handling and follow-up actions
- Support regulatory submissions by ensuring adherence to global safety standards
- Analyze post-marketing safety data and review relevant medical literature
- Collaborate with internal teams to support safety evaluations and regulatory strategies
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain high-quality documentation
- Work under supervision while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tasks
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Pharm.D from a recognized institution
- Candidates with pharmacovigilance certifications will have an added advantage
Experience
- 0 to 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or related field
- Freshers with relevant training or coursework in drug safety can also apply
