Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Monitor shop floor activities and act as the primary quality contact during production operations

- Review electronic Batch Records (eBR) and assess the impact of deviations or exceptions (AMPs)
- Evaluate batch manufacturing records and equipment audit trails for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) inspections and document findings in batch records
- Perform batch start-up and closure activities including sensor checks and recipe verification
- Carry out routine and random process checks across manufacturing stages
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and report quality observations
- Assess equipment breakdowns with respect to product quality and patient safety
- Review equipment alarms and analyze trends to identify potential risks
- Escalate non-compliance issues to senior management promptly
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify process gaps and contribute to process simplification and efficiency enhancement
- Participate in validation activities including recipe validation and review
- Support internal, regulatory, and corporate audits and inspections
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and quality systems
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or MSc from a recognized institution
Experience
- 6 to 8 years of experience in:
- Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA)
- Quality Assurance (QA)
- Pharmaceutical Production (preferably sterile manufacturing)
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulatory compliance
- Experience in batch record review and audit trail analysis
- Familiarity with sterile manufacturing processes such as terminal sterilization
- Good understanding of quality inspection techniques (AQL)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
