Key Roles & Responsibilities
As a Clinical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing teams and ensuring efficient execution of clinical trials. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising Clinical Operations teams across assigned projects
- Overseeing site selection, regulatory submissions, site activation, and study close-out
- Managing on-site and centralized monitoring activities
- Ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring team performance, productivity metrics, and quality standards
- Managing resource allocation and ensuring projects are adequately staffed
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Conducting performance evaluations and staff development activities
- Identifying operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Supporting business development activities and client interactions
- Reviewing project budgets, timelines, and performance metrics
- Driving process improvements and ensuring quality control across operations
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field
- Equivalent experience may also be considered
Experience
- Extensive experience in clinical research within CRO/pharma/biotech industry
- Strong background in clinical operations and regulatory/startup processes
- Experience managing teams (15+ members preferred)
- Exposure to clinical portfolio management
