Key Roles & Responsibilities
ICSR Case Processing
- Perform end-to-end Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) processing
- Handle data entry, coding, and medical review activities
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of safety case data
Safety Database Management
- Work on safety databases such as Argus Safety
- Maintain proper documentation and tracking of cases
- Ensure compliance with system workflows and SOPs
Regulatory Compliance
- Follow global pharmacovigilance guidelines (ICH, GVP)
- Ensure timely reporting of adverse events
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze clinical safety data and identify trends
- Perform follow-ups for incomplete case information
- Support signal detection and safety monitoring activities
Team Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams for safety operations
- Support implementation of pharmacovigilance systems
- Maintain quality standards in high-volume environments
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D)
- Life Sciences (BSc / MSc)
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance
- Hands-on experience in ICSR case processing required
- Experience with Argus Safety database preferred
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of MedDRA coding
- Understanding of ICSR workflows and safety reporting
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP and global PV guidelines
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and high workload
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach
