This position is part of the central pharmacovigilance compliance team responsible for ensuring adherence to global safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be actively involved in global pharmacovigilance compliance operations. Major responsibilities include: Macleods Pharma Hiring Pharmacovigilance Compliance Executive Jobs
- Performing daily safety website reviews for multiple regions including Europe, UK, WHO, and Rest of World (ROW) markets
- Monitoring regulatory authority websites for safety-related notifications, alerts, and guideline updates
- Identifying relevant safety information and sharing updates with internal teams:
- ICSR-related updates with Case Processing teams
- PSUR-related updates with Periodic Safety Update Report teams
- Signal-related information with Signal Management teams
- Preparing, revising, and maintaining pharmacovigilance SOPs in line with changing global regulations
- Coordinating with QPPV and Local Responsible Persons (LRPs) for regulatory queries, audits, and training activities
- Maintaining proper archiving of emails, documents, and compliance records as per PV procedures
- Collecting safety and compliance data from cross-functional teams for report preparation
- Drafting pharmacovigilance compliance reports in accordance with approved templates and SOPs
- Scheduling and participating in compliance meetings with QPPV and relevant stakeholders
- Preparing Minutes of Meeting (MoM) and tracking follow-up actions
- Supporting inspection readiness and ongoing compliance with global pharmacovigilance requirements

Eligibility Criteria
Education
- M.Pharm is mandatory
- Specialization in Pharmacology or Pharmaceutics is preferred
- Strong academic foundation in pharmacovigilance and drug safety concepts
Experience
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in pharmacovigilance compliance
- Prior exposure to website review, compliance reporting, or global PV operations is essential
- Freshers are not eligible for this role
Skills Required
Technical & Regulatory Skills
- Sound understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations including:
- GVP Modules
- MHRA guidelines
- EU, UK, USFDA, Indian, and ROW PV requirements
- Working knowledge of pharmacovigilance systems such as:
- PSMF
- ICSR
- PSUR
- RMP
- Familiarity with SOP lifecycle management and compliance documentation
Professional Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent documentation and reporting accuracy
- Ability to manage timelines and multiple compliance activities
- Effective coordination with cross-functional PV teams
- Attention to detail and regulatory discipline

- Estimated CTC: ₹4,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum
