Position Title: Clinical Line Manager – CRA
Department: Clinical Monitoring / Clinical Operations
This is a high-impact role for experienced Clinical Research Associates or early people managers who are ready to step into a strategic leadership position within a global CRO environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Clinical Line Manager – CRA will play a critical role in building and leading Medpace’s Clinical Monitoring team in India. As the sole CRA Line Manager in the country, the selected candidate will be responsible for both people leadership and operational oversight. Medpace Hiring Clinical Line Manager CRA Jobs
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct line management to a team of Clinical Research Associates
- Recruiting, onboarding, and developing CRA talent in line with organizational growth plans
- Conducting regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Supporting CRA career development, training plans, and long-term progression
- Managing workload distribution, site assignments, and monitoring capacity
- Ensuring clinical monitoring activities align with ICH-GCP guidelines and company standards
- Supporting quality oversight and compliance across clinical trial monitoring activities
- Collaborating with regional and global Clinical Operations leadership teams
- Acting as a key point of contact between CRAs and senior management
- Supporting CRA engagement, motivation, and retention initiatives
- Conducting periodic field visits and on-site evaluations to support CRA performance
- Contributing to process improvements and operational best practices

Eligibility Criteria
Education
Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Clinical Research, or a related discipline
Experience
Candidates must meet one of the following experience criteria:
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Clinical Line Manager OR
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
Experience working within a global CRO environment is strongly preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical monitoring processes
- Proven leadership and people-management capabilities
- Ability to mentor, coach, and develop clinical research professionals
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10%) for team support and evaluations
- High level of professionalism and commitment to quality
