Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Executive – Supply Chain will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations while maintaining strict compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Core responsibilities include: Executive Supply Chain Job
- Managing smooth and timely dispensing of raw materials for liquid, N-Block, and vitamin-mineral premix manufacturing
- Ensuring uninterrupted availability of materials to meet production and customer delivery timelines
- Supporting compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and applicable State Excise requirements
- Ensuring adherence to Legal Metrology (Weights & Measures) regulations during warehousing and dispensing activities
- Preventing data integrity risks across documentation, records, and warehouse systems
- Implementing sanitation, hygiene, and housekeeping practices throughout raw material storage areas
- Maintaining a customer-focused approach while coordinating with production, quality, and logistics teams
- Ensuring implementation of Food Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety management systems
- Identifying improvement opportunities within warehouse operations, compliance, and safety practices
- Preparing for and supporting regulatory, customer, and certification audits
- Addressing audit observations and ensuring timely closure of non-conformities
- Maintaining compliance with national and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000, FSSAI Act 2006, WHO-GMP, and other applicable requirements
- Supporting export compliance requirements, including US FDA food regulations such as 21 CFR Part 110 and 111
- Ensuring adherence to customer certifications such as Kosher, Halal, RSPO, FAMI-QS, UNICEF, WFP, and GAIN
- Conducting training sessions for shop-floor and warehouse personnel on quality, safety, and compliance topics
- Supporting implementation of QEHS policies, objectives, and site-level improvement initiatives
- Ensuring consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with EHS norms
- Monitoring waste segregation, disposal practices, and environmental compliance
- Managing work permit systems during maintenance and non-routine activities
- Identifying QEHS risks, reporting incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Investigating incidents and supporting corrective and preventive action implementation
- Exercising authority to stop unsafe work or prevent hazardous workplace conditions
- Preparing occupational health and safety performance documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement projects aligned with corporate quality and learning initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical warehouse and supply chain operations is preferred
- Exposure to regulated manufacturing environments will be an advantage
Skills Required
- Knowledge of raw material warehousing and dispensing processes
- Understanding of GMP, food safety, and quality management systems
- Familiarity with GST, legal metrology, and regulatory compliance
- Awareness of ISO, FSSC, WHO-GMP, and QEHS standards
- Strong documentation and audit-handling skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production, QA, and EHS teams
