Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Medical Information Manager I will support global medical information activities and ensure high-quality, compliant scientific communication. Key responsibilities include: Senior Medical Information Manager I Jobs
- Preparing accurate and timely responses to unsolicited medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals through multiple communication channels
- Ensuring complete and compliant documentation of all medical information interactions in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines
- Creating and reviewing Medical Response Documents (MRDs) for assigned product portfolios
- Collaborating with global Medical Information teams and Medical Strategy Teams to align on content strategy and execution
- Delivering therapeutic area and product training to internal stakeholders such as Medical Information teams, Compliance, and Customer Interaction Centers
- Supporting the development and implementation of internal processes related to daily medical information operations
- Participating in cross-functional projects aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and service delivery within Medical Information
- Collecting, monitoring, and analyzing metrics related to medical information activities
- Developing reports, generating actionable insights, and presenting findings to Medical Information leadership and partners
- Supporting internal audit readiness and external inspection preparedness activities
- Ensuring all activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and organizational standards
- Identifying and promoting best practices within the Medical Information function
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical information, drug information, medical writing, or relevant clinical roles
- Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments is preferred
Skills Required
- Strong scientific aptitude with the ability to quickly understand new disease areas and products
- Proven literature search, analysis, and critical evaluation skills
- Ability to work effectively in complex, matrixed, global environments
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Comfortable managing multiple projects within defined timelines
- Technologically adaptable and detail-oriented
- Willingness to align with US business hours and provide coverage during critical periods
