Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain analytical and data management programs using Python, R, and SAS.
- Design, build, test, and maintain clinical databases and associated edit checks in alignment with project specifications.
- Perform data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and validation from diverse clinical data sources.
- Create, test, and deliver data listings, validation checks, and reports to support clinical data review.
- Conduct statistical analyses, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and multivariate techniques.
- Support predictive modeling and exploratory data analysis initiatives for clinical datasets.
- Automate routine data processing, validation, and reporting workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop reusable macros, scripts, and functions to standardize programming deliverables across projects.
- Work closely with cross-functional project teams to translate data requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Act as a lead programmer on studies of low to moderate complexity under defined supervision.
- Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain clear documentation for programming logic, processes, and outputs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing clinical data processes and tools.
- Adhere strictly to departmental SOPs, working practices, GCP guidelines, and internal quality standards.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development of training or reference materials as required.
- Support ad-hoc programming, analysis, and reporting requests from project stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific, technical, or analytical discipline.
- Formal academic or vocational training related to programming, statistics, or data sciences is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in clinical data programming, data management, or analytical roles.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and hands-on experience may be considered.
Skills Required
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Strong working experience in Python, R, and SAS programming.
- Understanding of clinical data management systems, database structures, and data workflows.
- Knowledge of relational database systems (RDBMS) and structured datasets.
- Proficiency in data validation, listings generation, and edit check development.
- Solid foundation in statistics, including regression models, hypothesis testing, and multivariate analysis.
- Ability to automate workflows and optimize data pipelines for efficiency and accuracy.
- Experience preparing well-documented, reusable, and scalable code.
Analytical & Professional Skills:
