The primary designation under this hiring initiative is Senior Executive – Quality Assurance, with role allocation based on experience and functional expertise.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining quality excellence across laboratory, manufacturing, and documentation systems. Responsibilities may vary depending on the assigned QA function but will broadly include the following:
Analytical Quality Assurance (AQA) Responsibilities
- Review and management of laboratory quality events such as OOS, OOT, atypical results, and laboratory deviations
- Coordination and evaluation of laboratory investigations with a focus on root cause identification and corrective actions
- Oversight of QC laboratory compliance, data integrity practices, and adherence to approved analytical procedures
- Support qualification, calibration, and compliance of analytical instruments
- Participation in laboratory audits, inspections, and routine lab quality monitoring activities
In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) Responsibilities
- Continuous monitoring of manufacturing and packaging operations to ensure adherence to approved procedures
- Review, verification, and approval of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR)
- Handling and documentation of deviations, investigations, and CAPA related to production activities
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP, GDP, and site quality standards
- Providing on-floor QA support during critical operations and process interventions
Quality Management Systems (QMS) Responsibilities
- Management of site-level quality systems including deviations, change control, CAPA, and risk assessments
- Maintenance and review of controlled GMP documentation and quality records
- Support during internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audits
- Coordination of QMS-related training programs for plant personnel
- Ensuring timely closure of quality events and effectiveness checks

Eligibility Criteria
Education
- M.Pharm
- B.Pharm
- M.Sc (preferably Organic Chemistry or related discipline)
Experience
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance functions
- Prior exposure to injectables or sterile manufacturing facilities is highly preferred
- Experience working in USFDA or other regulated market environments is desirable
Skills Required
- Strong working knowledge of GMP, GDP, and quality systems
- Practical understanding of data integrity principles (ALCOA+)
- Hands-on experience in handling deviations, OOS/OOT, CAPA, and change management
- Ability to support audits and inspections with confidence
- Good documentation practices and analytical problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams
