Key Roles & Responsibilities
Candidates selected for this position will be entrusted with critical quality leadership responsibilities across documentation, compliance monitoring, and investigation management. Core duties include: Assistant Manager Deputy Manager QA Job at Provis Biolabs
- Reviewing and approving controlled documents such as SOPs, batch manufacturing records (BMRs), and batch packaging records (BPRs)
- Managing quality events including deviations, OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), and CAPA implementation
- Conducting structured root cause analysis using scientific investigation tools and ensuring closure effectiveness
- Supervising documentation lifecycle processes while maintaining strong data integrity practices aligned with ALCOA+ principles
- Performing risk-based quality evaluations and supporting product lifecycle quality activities such as APQR (Annual Product Quality Review)
- Providing QA oversight during manufacturing activities including line clearances and compliance verification
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and operational efficiency
- Ensuring adherence to global regulatory expectations including USFDA, CDSCO, and other international guidelines
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams such as Production, QC, and Regulatory Affairs to maintain inspection readiness
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Applicants must hold any of the following qualifications:
- B.Pharm
- M.Pharm
- M.Sc (Biotechnology or Chemistry)
- Equivalent life sciences qualification
Experience
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience
- Prior exposure to regulated pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environments is essential
- Experience in inspection-facing roles will be an added advantage
Skills Required
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- Strong knowledge of GMP and global regulatory expectations
- Hands-on experience handling deviations, CAPA systems, and investigation workflows
