Key Roles & Responsibilities
Laboratory Operations & Sample Handling

- Performing biological sample extraction using standard wet chemistry techniques
- Handling processes such as centrifugation, evaporation, freezing, and controlled storage
- Preparing aliquots of plasma, serum, and urine samples for analysis
- Preparing reagents, solvents, calibration standards, and mobile phases
- Assisting in maintaining laboratory cleanliness and safety practices
Method Development & Method Validation Support
The apprentice will gain exposure to regulated bioanalytical workflows by:
- Supporting bioanalytical method development and validation using LC/MS/MS
- Assisting in validation parameters such as accuracy, precision, recovery, and matrix effect
- Participating in stability studies including freeze–thaw, bench-top, long-term, and post-extraction stability
- Applying validated methods for bioequivalence and clinical sample analysis under supervision
Instrumentation & Analytical Support
- Operating analytical instruments such as LC/MS/MS, HPLC, and ICP-OES under guidance
- Performing routine system suitability checks before sample analysis
- Assisting with basic troubleshooting and routine instrument maintenance
- Maintaining instrument usage logs and system documentation
Documentation & Quality Compliance
- Recording raw data, analytical worksheets, and QC documentation accurately
- Ensuring compliance with SOPs, GLP, and bioanalytical regulatory guidelines
- Maintaining proper documentation for sample handling and analysis
- Supporting audit readiness by following data integrity and documentation practices

Eligibility Criteria
Education
Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:
- B.Pharm
- M.Pharm
- M.Sc or MS in Science (any specialization)
Experience
- 0 to 1 year of experience
