Key Roles & Responsibilities
Clinical Documentation & Study File Management
- Support the preparation, organization, and maintenance of essential clinical trial documents such as study protocols, informed consent documents, case report forms, investigator brochures, and study-related reports.
- Ensure both electronic and physical trial master files are updated, accurate, and compliant with internal quality standards.
- Assist in version control, archival, and retrieval of clinical study records as required during audits or inspections.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Coordinate internal and external meetings related to clinical studies, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation of meeting discussions.
- Prepare concise and accurate meeting minutes and circulate them to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Provide logistical assistance such as coordinating travel, accommodation, and documentation for clinical team members when required.
Regulatory & Compliance Assistance
- Support the clinical research team in preparing submissions to Ethics Committees, Institutional Review Boards, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in tracking approvals, amendments, and renewals to ensure studies remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
- Help maintain adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable regulatory guidelines, and company standard operating procedures.
Site Coordination & Financial Tracking
- Assist in monitoring site-related financial activities, including tracking invoice generation and payment status for participating clinical sites.
- Support vendor onboarding activities, including vendor code creation and systematic tracking of vendor details.
- Act as a coordination point between clinical sites, internal departments, and external vendors to ensure smooth operational flow.
Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain regular communication with clinical team members to ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Support collaboration between clinical operations, regulatory affairs, finance, and external partners.
- Escalate documentation or compliance gaps to appropriate team members when identified.
Freshers Jobs Clinical Trial Assistant
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a health or life science discipline such as Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Public Health
OR - Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research from a recognized institute
Experience
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in clinical research, clinical operations, or trial coordination
- Freshers with appropriate educational qualifications and internship exposure may also be considered
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
