Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Payment Associate I will be responsible for supporting investigator payment processes and ensuring compliance with study contracts, internal procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Freshers Jobs Payment Associate I
- Review clinical study data, contracts, and payment milestones prior to processing investigator payments.
- Process investigator payments using designated payment systems in accordance with approved study terms.
- Support generation of payment cover letters, proforma invoices, and payment batches in collaboration with payment analysts.
- Perform invoice quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Coordinate with Clinical Team Leads (CTLs) and Project Managers (PMs) to obtain necessary approvals for payment batches.
- Process out-of-pocket expense claims and pass-through cost invoices submitted by investigational sites.
- Perform payment reconciliation activities during study close-out or upon request from study teams.
- Assist with investigator payment processing activities across assigned studies to meet defined timelines.
- Support site start-up activities by assisting study and start-up teams with required documentation and submissions.
- Help prepare investigator submission packages for site or regulatory requirements when needed.
- Manage assigned studies to ensure required uploads are completed as per project objectives.
- Follow up with study teams on pending queries related to uploads or payment documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records and technical documentation in compliance with departmental standards.
- Perform routine checks to ensure the quality and accuracy of completed work.
- Escalate issues, delays, or discrepancies to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Complete all mandatory trainings within assigned timelines.
- Deliver daily operational tasks while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and quality benchmarks.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- University or college degree, preferably in Life Sciences.
- Certification in allied health professions such as nursing, medical technology, or laboratory sciences may also be considered.
- Equivalent relevant experience may be accepted in place of formal education, subject to company guidelines.
Experience
- 0 to 2 years of experience in clinical research, clinical operations, or related roles.
- Basic working knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and applicable regulatory standards is required.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Consistent delivery of high-quality work within defined timelines.
