Microbiology Department
Officer / Senior Executive – Microbiology
- Qualification: M.Sc (Microbiology / Biotechnology)
- Experience: 0 to 8 years
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Production – Injectable Manufacturing
- Execution of day-to-day injectable manufacturing activities on the shop floor
- Handling filtration, filling, sealing, and stoppering operations
- Operation and monitoring of vial washing and garment washing machines
- Performing autoclave loading, unloading, and sterilization cycles
- Working with suspension manufacturing and lyophilization processes
- Supervising aseptic operations to ensure GMP and sterile compliance
- Monitoring critical process parameters and maintaining batch documentation
- Training and guiding operators on SOPs and safety practices
- Ensuring adherence to quality management systems and operational discipline
Freshers Jobs Production Microbiology
Microbiology Department
- Conducting routine and non-routine microbiological testing
- Performing environmental monitoring and water system analysis
- Sampling and testing of bulk water, APIs, intermediates, and finished products
- Execution of microbiological tests such as MLT, Bioburden, BET, Sterility, and PET
- Performing antibiotic assays and related microbiological evaluations
- Maintaining accurate microbiology records and test documentation
- Supporting investigations, deviations, and corrective actions
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, data integrity, and regulatory standards
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:
- B.Pharm
- M.Pharm
- M.Sc (Microbiology / Biotechnology / relevant discipline)
- B.Sc
- ITI
- Diploma (relevant technical discipline)
Experience
- Freshers are eligible for select Microbiology roles
- Production roles require relevant experience ranging from 2 to 10 years depending on designation
- Candidates with sterile or injectable manufacturing exposure will be preferred
Skills Required
- Understanding of GMP and sterile manufacturing practices
- Knowledge of injectable production processes or microbiological testing
- Familiarity with SOPs, documentation, and quality systems
- Ability to work in cleanroom and regulated environments
- Strong attention to process control, compliance, and safety
