Executive – Regulatory Affairs & Pharmacovigilance

The Executive will be responsible for handling regulatory submissions, maintaining compliance with Indian regulatory authorities, and managing pharmacovigilance activities related to product safety.

This role requires coordination with global safety teams, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to ensure regulatory compliance and proper safety reporting for pharmaceutical products.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

The Executive – Regulatory Affairs & Pharmacovigilance will perform various regulatory and safety-related responsibilities. Pharmaceuticals Regulatory Affairs Job at Ferring

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting safety information from India and South Asia cluster countries to the global safety team
  • Following up with reporters to obtain additional safety information when required
  • Monitoring and reviewing the safety mailbox for adverse event reports
  • Performing monthly pharmacovigilance reconciliation and compliance checks
  • Preparing and submitting Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) to regulatory authorities
  • Preparing regulatory dossiers for new product registrations, clinical trials, variations, and renewals of registration certificates
  • Coordinating with global regulatory teams for regulatory submission activities
  • Preparing responses to queries raised by regulatory authorities
  • Assisting with preparation for regulatory authority meetings and expert committee meetings
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory dossiers for South Asia market submissions
  • Preparing and updating product labeling materials
  • Reviewing promotional materials to ensure compliance with approved product registrations
  • Updating regulatory databases with relevant product and regulatory information
  • Maintaining and updating local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Updating or renewing safety agreements with partners, manufacturers, and distributors
  • Coordinating updates related to pricing and submitting required information to the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) database
  • Supporting lifecycle management activities and updating internal commercial teams about regulatory milestones

Eligibility Criteria
