Key Roles & Responsibilities
As a Specialist in Quality Services (Product Complaints), your responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end handling of product technical complaints (PTCs) and field alerts
- Evaluating complaint severity, risk, and ensuring timely processing
- Handling complaints related to pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, and combination products
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and commercial operations
- Maintaining complaint records in quality databases and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Conducting batch genealogy and recurrence analysis
- Supporting investigation processes and assigning cases to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs)
- Coordinating shipment of complaint samples for investigation
- Reviewing investigation reports for completeness, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation
- Ensuring adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) processes and GxP documentation
- Monitoring KPIs and ensuring compliance with quality metrics
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting implementation
- Escalating significant issues to management when required
- Participating in meetings and providing updates on complaint investigations
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences
- Engineering / Healthcare / IT / Business Administration
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in quality assurance, complaint handling, or QMS is preferred
