Laboratory & Experimental Work
- Perform hands-on experiments in mammalian and microbial cell culture
- Work on protein expression and purification using systems such as E. coli and yeast
- Conduct fed-batch shake flask studies and optimize cell culture conditions
Molecular Biology Techniques
- Execute cloning, primer design, and vector construction
- Develop and characterize expression systems for biologics
- Design and troubleshoot molecular biology experiments
Cell Line Development
- Generate stable CHO-based monoclonal cell lines
- Perform single-cell cloning and screening processes
- Support therapeutic protein production workflows
Cell Banking & Compliance
- Prepare and manage different cell banks (RCB, MCB, WCB, EPCB)
- Ensure compliance with ICH and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain proper documentation in laboratory notebooks (LNB/ELN)
Collaboration & Technology Transfer
- Work with CROs and CDMOs for technology transfer activities
- Participate in cross-functional project discussions
- Support scale-up and process optimization
Documentation & Quality
- Maintain accurate experimental records and reports
- Follow SOPs and ensure regulatory compliance
- Identify and resolve technical challenges during experiments
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- M.Sc / M.Tech / PhD in:
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Or related life sciences fields
Experience
- Minimum 2 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience in:
- Molecular biology techniques
- Mammalian cell culture
- Biologics or protein expression
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology and cell culture techniques
- Experience in protein expression and purification systems
- Understanding of biologics development processes
- Hands-on experience with cloning and vector design
